Mr John Camilleri-Brennan MD(Dundee), FRCSGlas,FRCSGenSurg
I am currently Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Forth Valley Royal Hospital and BMI King’s Park Hospital in Stirling, central Scotland. I am also an examiner for the Intercollegiate MRCS examinations.
I received my surgical training primarily in Dundee and Aberdeen. I was awarded a Travelling Fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow to pursue further studies in colorectal surgery at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA.
I carry out all aspects of general and colorectal surgery in my practice, in particular gall bladder and hernia surgery, surgery for colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel disease, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and surgery for incontinence and pelvic floor disorders especially following childbirth.
I have published articles in major surgical journals, co-authored a chapter in a postgraduate surgical textbook and presented at many national and international meetings. I am a reviewer of four main surgical and cancer journals.
Dr David Bush
I work as a GP in a family practice in the Black Country, in the heart of the West Midlands. I was brought up in Surrey, before qualifying at Birmingham Medical School in 1986. I have worked as a partner in my current practice since 1991.
I hold diplomas in children's health, gynaecology, family planning and occupational medicine, and outside general practice I act as medical advisor to a number of businesses.
I am married with one son and two dogs, and enjoy sports of all sorts, country life and outdoor pursuits.
Dr Clare Craig BM BS FRCPath
I am a consultant cytopathologist at St Mary’s hospital in Paddington, London, part of the Imperial College NHS Trust. I studied medicine at Cambridge University for three years before doing three years clinical training at Oxford University. I qualified in June 2000. In August 2001 I became a pathologist at the Royal Free Hospital in London and have experience in all aspects of histopathology, cytopathology and autopsy pathology.
I now work part time to allow me some time with my growing family.
Dr Clare Murphy
I am a part time GP in Fife. I qualified from University of Edinburgh in 1999. I completed my GP training in Yorkshire before moving back to Scotland in 2007. I am also a part time Staff Grade doctor in Contraception and Sexual Health and have an interest in women's health. I fit contraceptive implants and coils as part of this job.
I hold membership of the Royal College of GPs as well as diplomas in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Sexual and Reproductive Health.

Dr Arvind Kumar
Qualifications: MBBS, MRCP, CCST, FRCP(London), FRCP(Glasgow)
I am a Consultant Physician in General and Elderly Medicine with interest in the area of Parkinson's disease and Tremors. I have worked for the NHS for the last 16 years and have been a Consultant for 10 years at Wigan Hospitals. I worked as a Junior doctor in South Yorkshire Hospitals for my post graduate medical training and subsequently progressed to Specialist Registrar position in the Greater Manchester area.
I look after medical patients of all age groups (18 and over) and conditions; in various settings. I also participate in an emergency medical rota at my Hospital. I am involved in training of junior medical doctors who will become GPs and Consultants. I am an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians, UK. It is my pleasure to provide a high quality of care to patients helping alleviate any suffering toward improving quality of life.
Mr Iqbal Shergill BSc(Hons) MRCS(Eng) FRCS(Urol)
I am currently a Consultant Urological Surgeon, in North Wales, having recently completed my Higher Specialist Urology Training, in London and Essex.
Initially, I completed Basic Surgical Training in Oxford, and then undertook laboratory based clinical research on prostate cancer, at University College London, prior to Higher Surgical Training in Urology (London).
My interests are endourology/urinary tract stones, urological oncology and men’s health.
I have edited 5 teaching textbooks, published over 70 peer-reviewed Medline papers and presented at numerous national/international meetings. I have also organised several practical skill courses for fellow trainees, as well as career advice courses for medical students and junior doctors, at the Royal Society of Medicine, London.
I am married to a hard working and supportive GP wife, have 2 lovely children, passionately support Liverpool Football Club and have completed the London Marathon, raising money for a children’s charity.
Dr Matthew Sweeney
I qualified as a Doctor in 2002 from The University of Glasgow. I completed GP training in 2007, gaining membership of The Royal College of General Practitioners in the same year. I presently work as a full-time GP in Fife, Scotland. I have an interest in sports medicine and have previously worked as a Doctor in motorsports and the Scottish Football League.
Through my work as a GP, I am prepared to give advice and information on a wide variety of medical problems.
Dr Peter Williams
I am a general practitioner in Derbyshire, where I have been a partner since 2002 in my practice. I qualified in Medicine in 1997 at University College London. I did my specialist GP training in York.
I enjoy family medicine, and have an interest in elderly care and orthopaedics. I have passed my membership of the Royal College of GPs, and have a Diploma from the faculty of Family Planning. I am a trainer of GPs. I represent 8 local practices on the Derbyshire Local Medical Committee.
I am married with children and am a practising Christian. I have recently taken a six month Sabattical in Southern Africa and set up a community health work in rural Lesotho.
Dr Ben Inglis
I first qualified as a doctor in 2000 in London. I currently work as a GP in Hampshire. I enjoy the variety of my work and enjoy advising people of ways they can improve their health. I worked in many hospital posts prior to my general practice training.
I have passed the exams necessary to become a member of both The Royal College of Physicians and The Royal College of General Practitioners.
I also work as a medical officer in our local hospice.
I am married and have two daughters.
Dr Dulani Knowles
I am currently a Specialist Registrar (SpR) in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery in the West Midlands. I am towards the end of my training and have completed the prerequisite consultant exams.
Prior to commencing my ENT training I qualified at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s Medical School in 2000, completed a house officer year, taught anatomy as a demonstrator for six months and then completed 3 years as a senior house officer mainly in surgical specialities within the London region.
I carry out all aspects of general ENT surgery and regularly participate in general and specialist ENT clinics. I have written many journals articles, presented papers at specialist meetings and I participate in a formal yearly appraisal process. I attend relevant specialist courses for my professional development and I am an active teacher. I am also completing an MBA at Keele University and have an interest in nasal surgery/rhinology.
