Complications of hernia operation as baby
I was born 4 weeks premature and at the age of around 6 months suffered from a ruptured hernia which was operated on it. I was told there were complications during this procedure, however, I'm not fully sure what they were and would like to explanation and advice. I am now in my early twenties and my left testicle seems perfectly healthy however, my right one is tiny in size and is very high (never 'dropped' at puberty). This testicle also feels different when it is touched compared to the other.
Is this testicle dead, or just affected by the operation in some way? Could you explain what is likely to be case? What our the consequences of this in terms of sperm count, testosterone etc? Also it looks slightly odd having one testicle so small and high and can be uncomfortable at times. Is there anything that can be done?
Thanks.

Hydrocelectomy
I had a hydrocelectomy in 2008 to remove a build up of fluid from both testicles.
The surgeon discovered damaged tissue which he attributed to me playing contact sport while my testes were swollen.
Question 1. Is it possible to remove/repair the damaged tissue?
Question 2. I have excess skin from where my scrotum had been stretched due to the swelling. Now my testicles are slightly smaller it feels like they aren't properly supported and I sometimes get aching pains. Is there a procedure to remove the excess skin?
Thanks for your help,
******

Information
I'm an nineteen year old male, from South Wales. I began suffering from testicular discomfort around two days ago. The pain has certainly increased, predominantly in my right testicle and has extended somewhat to my leg and abdomen; as well as this, my right testicle feels ever so slightly swollen, (only marginally so) though there is no blood in my urine or any other signs of abnormality.
I am of course a somewhat concerned, although it has only been two days, the discomfort has yet to diminish and I would rather not have to display my Crown jewels to my GP. Though I am aware of such conditions as Testicular torsions, which I certainly wouldn't want to experience, I am mindful I should not ignore this pain and would certainly appreciate any insight into the matter, if only to put my mind at ease.
Thankyou.

Only one testicle
Hi,
Im in a bit of a situation, I am a 21 year old bloke, but I have only 1 testicle, and its starting to worry me now. I have left it for a while now, but its gettting to me now, and stopping me. I am fully able and everything. What could be wrong? Am I ok? Or could it just be like it, as read before some people only have 1?
