I have a problem with dizziness
I experienced dizziness on rising last Sunday, with slight reoccurence. I have been taking 10 mg fluoxetine for several months. I also suffer from nasal congestion/catarrh/dryness at the back of the throat. I was unable to cope with a Pilates lesson this morning - moving from side to side etc - the room completely spun, leaving me feeling nauseas and wobbly. Can't get a Dr appointment - feeling worried. I also experience a slight ringing in my ears.

Vertigo failing to respond to betahistine
I have some type of vertigo,which is failing to respond to 4years of taking Betahistine 16mg tablets taken 3 times perday.
I experience an imbalance as if veering over mainly to the left,my trying to correct this causes the imbalance.The ground never appears to move, I am never dizzy and I am clear of it 2/3 days out of 7.
If I consume alcohol though 3 pints say my legs start to go all over the place and it seems to be this reaction is going worse recently.My son is getting married in October,and I am getting desparate for a cure before the wedding.
