Kidney problems Questions

    My end stage kidney disease

I am 67 YOA. I have end stage kidney disease (12% kidney function), but am not yet on dialysis. In 1989 I was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy after a biopsy. From around 1981 to 1989 I had been prescribed daily doses of Naprosyn by my GP as a result of a sporting injury. During the 1981-1989 period I also engaged in endurance running (4 to eight miles daily). I had medical examinations in 1973, 1980 and 1982 for employment purposes, and none of these indicated protein or blood in urine. Is it likely or possible that the cause of my kidney problems was a result of the ingestion of NSAIDs over the period 1981 to 1989?
