Endometriosis
I am having chronic pain in my right and left lower abdomen just above the level of the appendix. I have had a scan and it did show that there might might be some diverticular disease and an adhesion but was thought that these were not enough to be the cause of chronic pain. I am also finding bowel movements difficult. It is now looking like it might be endometriosis.
In Nov 2008 I had a total Hysterectomy due to having cancer risk(complex atypical hyperplasia). After I was put on HRT . Currently taking 1mg Sandrena Gel(Estrogen) and 200mg Utrogestron (Progestrone).
Obviously current HRT not suppressing the endometriosis. What other drugs treatment would I have available given that I have had total hysterectomy (including ovaries removed).
Thanks for your help

Question re Breastfeeding and alcohol
I have just had a baby she is 3 weeks old. Throughout pregnancy I never drank at all. I am now Breast Feeding so still not drinking. I went to a BF clinic today she told me you can drink and explained how it works so once it is out of your system it is out of your breastmilk at roughly a unit an hour. SHe also told me you can have a glass of wine and breastfeed and it should not do any harm. Especially if you drink with a meal just after you feed. However I am abit neurotic and would rather not have anything if it could mean any harm to baby. However I must admitt after 10 months of abstinance I would quiet like to have teh odd glass of wine when I fancy. I am not expressing so thought to be on the safe side, could feed her that if I choose to have a glass of wine with my meal and then wait the required time. My question is if I go to these lengths will that ensure that no harm would come to baby. SO basically be the same as if I didnt drink. Thanks
